In a rapidly evolving world, the gender and development challenges are becoming increasingly complex and interlinked and lack of adequate and correct data and information are often impediments to achieving sustainable development. Despite concerted efforts to improve gender statistics and analytics by global development organizations, there are still large gaps in existing gender data and its usage. Of the data that is available, quality is another significant challenge.

Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) and International Labour Organisation (ILO) are conducting a study on waste management in the city of Ahmedabad. As a part of the study, a survey of scrap shops and scrap dealers is being conducted from the 20th of May to the 5th of June, 2023. We are looking for interns to conduct the survey.
